Ben Lingenfelter


With 25 years in the field, having taught ages 11-75, Ben Lingenfelter brings a wealth of experience to bear. He has taught computer classes, such as web design and graphic design, and he loves open source solutions. He currently teaches English at Islands High School in Savannah, GA.

Christin King



Steven Hill


Steven Hill earned his bachelor's degree in 1996. He has since earned his M.Ed in Media and Instructional Technology and is soon to finish his Ed.S in ITEC. He has worked as a classroom, resource, and special education teacher. Today, he works in the Effingham Co. School System. He enjoys educating children and looks forward to using the knowledge to increase engagement in learning, making schools into 21st century learning hubs for all stakeholders.
​Christin King is from Thomasville, Georgia, and has been an educator for twenty years in the elementary setting. She received her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern in Early Childhood Education, and has her master’s degree in Reading Education from Mercer University. She is currently working on her Specialist degree in Instructional Technology with Georgia Southern. Mrs. King has a variety of experience in elementary education, and she is anxious to share the top technologies that are emerging for today’s students. Currently, Mrs. King teaches second grade in the Thomas County School District.

Lexus Houston


Currently a Language Arts teacher at Carrollton Upper Elementary School in Carrollton, GA, Houston is in her third year of teaching. She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Middle Grades Education and is also a cheer coach.

Demarcus Vereen


Demarcus Vereen is from Athens, GA, and has been an educator for six years. Vereen received both a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and M.Ed in Instructional Technology and Library Media from Georgia College and State University. He is currently earning an Ed.S in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University. Vereen is an avid advocator for technology integration within the classroom and believes it is an invaluable tool in the field of education.

Blake Lipthratt


Blake Lipthratt is a school librarian with a passion for encouraging students to love learning. With a background in multimedia production and Special Education, he strives to create accessible opportunities for all learners to bring together literacy and technology. He works at Satilla Marsh Elementary in Brunswick, Ga.

Keenan Jackson



Jillian Groover


While he has only been teaching for five years, Keenan Jackson has a thorough understanding of the importance of technology implementation in the classroom. Each year he has continued to increase his knowledge of curriculum and technology. He has taught mainly middle school students. He currently teaches math at a Middle school in Thomson, Ga. Keenan believes that “The job of an educator is to teach students to see vitality in themselves.’ –Joseph Campbell
​Jillian Groover is a kindergarten teacher that loves to encourage her students and remind them that anything is possible if you just try. With a background in Early Childhood Education and Gifted Certified, she enjoys implementing technology into everyday lessons and finds it amazing to watch young learners quickly adapt to the newest trend. She currently teaches at Isle of Hope K-8 School in Savannah, Georgia.

Alison English


Alison English is a middle school teacher who loves to meet new people and find unique ways to connect with them. As a former math teacher and current science teacher, she is passionate about incorporating technology into any and all STEM lessons that she encounters! Since the start of the COVID-era digital learning, it has been a passion of hers to create fun, engaging blended learning lessons for students, whether they are inside the classroom or outside of it. Alison currently teaches 7th-grade Life Science at Sarasota County Schools and resides in Sarasota, Florida with her husband and her Shih-poo Sophie.

Rachel Wilkinson


Rachel Wilkinson is from Atlanta, Georgia, and has been an elementary school teacher for 5 years. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Georgia in Early Childhood Education. She is currently in her last semester of classes for a Specialist degree in Instructional Technology with Georgia Southern University. In addition to teaching in the classroom, Rachel also coordinates and leads the STEAM Clubs at her school, acts as a technology integration mentor and coach to her peers through the FCS Vanguard program, and hosts student teachers from local colleges.

Jennifer Welker


A 6th grade ELA in Columbia County Georgia, Welker started teaching in 2012. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Clayton State in 2007, a Master’s in Teaching from Georgia Southern University in 2012, and will finish her Specialist in ITEC in May. She holds certifications in Gifted, Secondary History, Middle Grades Social Science, Middle Grades Science, and Middle Grades ELA.

Desiree Hinton


​Originally from Waycross Georgia, Gary M. James has been an educator for nineteen years. Along with his bachelor’s degree in history education, he also has a master’s degree in Instructional Technology. James has been a poster presenter at the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) in Boston, Massachusetts, emphasizing the power of interactive learning in high school environments. Additionally, James was a presenter at the Empowering Learning Technology Fair in Eatonton, Georgia. Currently, James is an Instructional Technologist and Media Specialist in the Effingham County School District.
​Desiree Hinton is a middle school teacher that loves to encourage her students. With a background in Special Education, she knows the importance of assisting all students so that they can reach their full potential as successful learners. Hinton believes that Blended Learning is becoming a vital part of education and ensures her students are familiar with how to properly use it. She currently teaches 7th grade math at Harlem Middle School in Harlem, GA.

Caitlin Seabolt


Caitlin Seabolt is a middle school teacher who is passionate about her students and helping teachers create classrooms where students feel valued. With a bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southern University, she decided to further her education in the field of Instructional Technology, gaining her Masters’ Degree from GSU and continuing on to her Educational Specialist degree. Seabolt is a member of her school’s Digital Learning Committee and is always willing to help other teachers utilize technology to promote meaningful learning experiences in their classrooms. Seabolt is certified as a Google Level 1 Educator and maintains other certifications in the field of Edtech. She currently teaches 8th Grade Physical Science at Columbia Middle School in Grovetown, Georgia.

Sarah Lind


In her eighth year of teaching middle school in Grovetown, Georgia, Lind has a Bachelors in Middle Grades Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She’s certified in both ELA and social studies. She is currently teaching seventh grade social studies while exploring and implementing educational technology in the classroom to create exciting learning experiences for all students.
